A highly experienced personal trainer, motivator and friend.
Having been a personal trainer since 2002, I have helped hundreds of clients achieve their goals.
I help people build consistency with their training in a way that is both effective and enjoyable. My approach combines strength training, functional movement, fat loss, and overall healthy living so you’re not just chasing short-term results, but building a strong, capable body that supports you long term.
Training should feel rewarding, not like a chore, and I work closely with you to make sure it fits into your lifestyle while still delivering real progress. I also work alongside physiotherapists when needed, ensuring your training supports injury management and recovery safely and effectively.
I design personalised training programs and nutrition plans tailored to your individual goals, experience level, and daily routine. With regular weekly check-ins, you’ll have the accountability, support, and guidance needed to stay on track and keep progressing.
I place a strong emphasis on lifting with proper form and building strength safely, so you can train with confidence and get the most out of every session. Every program is structured to support your goals and help you move forward with clarity and purpose.
Cheers, Steve

have been training with Steve for more than 10 years. My favourite part of training with Steve is…Steve. He’s such a great human being…and beyond that, our training sessions almost happen by stealth. I never feel daunted or anxious beforehand, I rarely feel like I am working hard, and I never have to think about what I am doing…I just do what Steve tells me to do and BOOM, muscles! Which is not to say that I am not interested in my body. Steve and I have many detailed conversations about technique and form and which muscles we’re targeting. He’s a Ninja!
I’ve been training with Steve for over 5 years and it’s my 45 min of peace each time. He’s my personal therapist.
My journey has been unusual, I’ve been training with Steve for for 5 years with a break of 12-18 months. My attitude to personal training was that it is a luxury and if I’m cashed up, then it’s one of life’s luxuries that I can afford. It was so I could look great physically in my early 40s. I use to rationalise it by saying it’s better to put the money towards it rather than a drinking or smoking habit (neither I had or have). For me now it’s that preventative approach to help keeping a healthy mind and body. As I’ve progressed into my 40s, now 46, I’ve become less enthused about exercise and my initial reasons for exercise was purely vanity. After having a break from training with Steve – as I became less concerned about the way I look – I realised my training wasn’t just about how I looked it was also about how I felt and general health and well-being. Steve has great energy and that helps me train harder, I also notice I felt better mentally after training. I good friend of mine recently told me that the psychologist he was seeing told him there was nothing wrong with him although he’d be better off investing the money into a good personal trainer. That bought to life for me the benefits mentally seeing a good trainer can do, I was getting those benefits but just didn’t realise.
I’ve been training with Steve for 6 years. His knowledge of all things Seinfeld and his love and devotion to gold, or any other shiny metal are my favourite parts.
In terms of results…
At first my ribs hurt from all the laughter, but now I can get through a whole session without any pain.
Doesn’t have to just be physical – could be mental and emotional too.
Now that’s changed for the better!
Steve and I have been training 3 years and counting. He helps me stay motivated, educates me about form and techniques. He pushes me to my limit and helps improve my weaknesses. Results I’ve noticed.. My 6pack, my ability to train longer and better. Doesn’t have to just be physical – could be mental and emotional too.
Steve’s holistic approach to fitness combined with his enthusiasm and humour have been essential to me achieving my fitness goals. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone, no matter what their fitness level
I have been training with Steve for a bit more than 3 years now, had tried a couple of PTs before and they had their strengths but Steve is the one that I find encompasses all I need. Not only I get clear results, I really feel like everything I do is having an impact and I’m not wasting my time. He is also the one keeping me to it and checking on me whether it’s a quick text to see if everything is ok when I’ve not been in for a few days or asking questions around my diet and how I feel. Finally and it ties everything together for me, he is just fun and great to train with. Steve has proven to be highly technical and skilled while simply being a pleasure to catch up with. I even had lower back issues that he resolved in partnership with his recommended Chiro. Overall, I could not recommend him highly enough.
Bro it has been more then just a training session, you are such a great mentor a great friend and very inspirational. I have learnt so much from you, from getting results and pushing my limits. I was always scared of pushing hard and lifting heavier but I know now I can do all these things. Thanks so much for the great lessons in life and to appreciate my wins. You are awesome.
For six years, Steve amd I have trained together. He’s always wide awake and ready to go with spirited conversation, even at 6am. He believes an essential part of life is the balance. He’s helped me build stamina, and he ensures I can walk around Italian hill towns all day and eat fabulous dinners along the way.
